The pipe shades and trophy panels are carved in lime wood. Ornaments and musical instruments include: baroque recorders, trumpets, oboes, violin and lute. These are arranged in the middle of each panel, where acanthus swirls are growing from the background to support and present the carved musical trophies. I designed the carvings based on the Richard Bridge organ case built in 1735, an early Georgian pipe organ, for which I was responsible for the restoration.
Cul-de-lampe carved in oak copied from John Geib's pipe organ in St Paul's Chapel New York.
